What personal data do we collect and why

- Login & Session: If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie determines if your browser accepts cookies (discarded upon closing).
- Account Persistence: Login cookies last for two days; screen options cookies last for one year. “Remember Me” extends login to two weeks.
- Editing: If you edit an article, a cookie indicating the post ID is saved for 24 hours.

How long do we retain your data
- Comments: Retained indefinitely to recognise follow-up comments automatically.
- Registered Users: Personal information provided in user profiles is stored as long as the account exists. Users can see, edit, or delete their info at any time (except usernames).
- Contact Forms: We keep contact form submissions for six months for customer service, but do not use them for marketing purposes.
